Zephyrhills Hydro Jetting and Drain Cleaning
Zephyrhills is Pasco County's largest city, with 17,194 residents in 2020, and it runs its own water and wastewater system: plant, collection lines and lift stations. That is different from the county utility covering most of Wesley Chapel, and it matters when a backup turns out to be in the street.
The town began as a Civil War veterans' colony. Capt. Howard B. Jeffries bought 35,000 acres in 1909, the place was renamed in 1910 and it incorporated in 1914. The middle of town is old by Pasco standards; the subdivisions growing off Eiland Boulevard are not.
Zephyrhills Drain Cleaning: Old Center, New Edges
Where the house sits decides the pipe. Homes near the original center, around the US 301 and SR 54 crossing, may still have clay or cast-iron laterals, and those do not take high-pressure water the way PVC does. Newer houses toward Eiland Boulevard are plastic. We confirm with a camera before choosing a nozzle.
Zephyrhills sits at about 95 feet with rolling ground, so laterals tend to have decent fall. That helps flow, and it usually means a stoppage is one specific spot that a camera can find.
What We Do for Zephyrhills Homes
- Hydro Jetting Services — High-pressure water jetting that scours grease, scale and debris from drain and sewer lines

- Kitchen Line Grease Jetting — Grease clearing for kitchen branch lines and the drain stack beneath your sink
- Root Removal & Line Clearing — Cutting and flushing roots out of sewer lines before they block the flow
- Drain Cleaning & Snaking — Cable snaking for sinks, tubs, showers, floor drains and stubborn toilet clogs
- Sewer Camera Inspection — Video inspection showing pipe condition, blockages and root entry before and after cleaning
Sewer Line Jetting and Camera Inspection in Zephyrhills
Call the city if the problem is the main in the street; call us if it is your line. When you are not sure which, a sewer camera inspection sorts it out: we look from your cleanout toward the street and show you what is there.
Pricing is plain: $350 to $650 for standard residential jetting, $175 to $325 for a branch-line snake run. Our walkthrough of a jetting visit shows the steps. We also cover Dade City and Wesley Chapel nearby.
Zephyrhills Communities and Historic Blocks We Serve
Zephyrhills mixes a 1910s-era downtown with large manufactured-home communities and census-designated places on its edges.
- Zephyrhills Downtown Historic District — National Register district of 84 acres and 126 contributing buildings around South Avenue, 9th Avenue and 7th Street. Buildings of that age may have clay or cast-iron lines.
- Zephyrhills West — Census-designated place of 4,087 housing units, 27.4% vacant in 2020, where 36.9% of households were one person. Part-time occupancy leaves drains idle, so grease and soap film can settle between uses.
- Zephyrhills South — Census-designated place with 4,022 housing units, 37.1% vacant at the 2020 census. A home left empty for months can have dry traps, so a first visit starts there, then a camera pass.
- Zephyrhills North — Small census-designated place with 2,663 residents and 1,940 housing units in 2020, at about 105 feet elevation. Plumbing age varies lot to lot, so camera first.
- Southport Springs Golf & Country Club — Resort-style 55+ community at 3509 Southport Springs Parkway, mostly manufactured homes in current listings. Drain lines often run under the floor, so we ask where the cleanout is.
- Crystal Lake — Manufactured-home community at 4604 Lake Crystal Boulevard in ZIP 33541. Whether the park or the homeowner owns the sewer lateral varies; your park office can say.
- Chancey Road communities — A run of manufactured-home communities on Chancey Road (CR 535), including Settler's Rest, Sweetwater and Glen Haven. We find which side of the park connection a blockage is on.
- Sundance — Manufactured-home community at 6340 Santa Fe Drive in ZIP 33542. Runs from home to park connection tend to be short, so clogs often sit at the fixture.
- Ramblewood — Manufactured-home community on US 301 at 3853 Gall Boulevard. A photo of the cleanout or access panel helps us price the visit before we arrive.
Zephyrhills Highways, Airport and Hospital Landmarks
- US 301 (Gall Boulevard and Fort King Highway) — The main north-south road through the city; it meets Chancey Road, SR 39 and downtown SR 54, then continues north toward Dade City.
- SR 54 (Fifth Avenue) — The main east-west road, reaching US 301 downtown, where Fifth Avenue continues east of the intersection.
- SR 56 — Its eastern end is at US 301 across from Festival Park, linking Zephyrhills with Wesley Chapel and I-75.
- Eiland Boulevard (CR 579) — Runs through the city's western edge as Morris Bridge Road, Eiland Boulevard and Handcart Road; new subdivisions have been framing roofs just off it.
- Chancey Road (CR 535) — Follows the southern and eastern edges of the city and meets US 301 right after SR 56, passing several manufactured-home communities.
- SR 39 (Paul S. Buchman Highway) — Comes up from Plant City and joins US 301 in Zephyrhills, then runs with it north.
- AdventHealth Zephyrhills — The city's only hospital, at 7050 Gall Boulevard on US 301.
- Zephyrhills Municipal Airport — City-owned field about one nautical mile southeast of downtown, with two asphalt runways and the Skydive City drop zone.
- Zephyrhills Depot Museum — A 1927 Atlantic Coast Line depot at 39110 South Avenue, moved about 200 feet and opened as a museum in 1998.
- Capt. Howard B. Jeffries House — Built in 1911 at 38537 5th Avenue and listed on the National Register in 1995, separately from the downtown district.
Zephyrhills Housing and Sewer Numbers for Line Jetting
- In ZIP 33541, 65% of the 14,713 housing units are mobile homes (ACS 2020-2024 5-year estimate). Most homes in this ZIP are manufactured housing, where the run to the park connection is usually short and cleanout access varies, so access decides how we reach the line.
- In ZIP 33542, 47% of housing units are mobile homes, the median year built is 1982 and 45% were built before 1980 (ACS 2020-2024 5-year estimate). Older stock plus manufactured housing means a mix of pipe materials and park-owned lines, so a camera pass shows what is there before any pressure.
- A May 2021 Laker/Lutz News report quoted a city memo saying Zephyrhills' wastewater infrastructure was at capacity, and described a planned $4 million master lift station near Otis Allen Road and 23rd Street. Grease and wipes that clog home lines also load city lift stations, so keeping your own lateral clear helps the shared system too.
- In the ACS 2020-2024 5-year estimate, 22% of the 9,937 housing units in Zephyrhills city were built in 2010 or later, against a median year built of 1990. New PVC subdivisions sit beside older streets in the same city, so the nozzle and pressure we use depend on the address, not on the city.

CALL 813-733-7188Hydro Jetting in Zephyrhills: Common Questions
Inside the city, Zephyrhills runs its own wastewater collection system and lift stations. Addresses outside city limits may fall under the county instead, so confirm by address. If our camera shows your lateral is clear and the main is full, we will tell you to call the utility.
It can, if the pipe is cracked, thinned or made of a brittle material such as Orangeburg. That is why older homes get a camera pass first. Where the pipe looks poor we use a cable or stop and recommend a repair. Our pipe materials post explains each case.
Yes, 33541 and 33542, including the US 301 and SR 54 area and the newer streets off Eiland Boulevard. Same-day scheduling is available when the day allows, and the written price comes before we start.
Mostly what any recent subdivision sees: grease film in kitchen lines, flushed wipes, hair and soap in bathrooms. Those are jetting-friendly problems. If a kitchen line keeps slowing after a cable visit, kitchen line grease jetting removes the wall film the cable leaves.
A main line snake runs $225 to $450, and hydro jetting a main with moderate roots runs $400 to $750. You get a written price first, free estimates are honored for 30 days, and the price is the same whether the house is old or new.
