Watergrass Hydro Jetting and Drain Cleaning
Watergrass covers about 998 acres off Curley Road, and roughly 250 of them are kept as wetlands, woods and parks. Approved for 1,999 residences, it had about 400 homes built in its first phase by 2015, and Taylor Morrison's Willow Point section opened in April 2018. WaterGrass Elementary is on site.
The pipe here is 2010s PVC. The setting is what stands out.
Watergrass Sewer Line Jetting Next to the Preserve
Pasco County's flatwoods soils include types that hold the water table within 10 inches of the surface for months in wet years. We have no soil data for any specific Watergrass street, but beside a preserve wetland it is reasonable to expect groundwater to run high in the wet season, pressing on lateral joints.
New PVC with tight joints copes with that fairly well, so trouble tends to be buildup, not leaks. When drains slow only from July through September, we rule out a local clog before blaming the weather; this post shows how to tell.
What We Do for Watergrass Homes
- Hydro Jetting Services — High-pressure water jetting that scours grease, scale and debris from drain and sewer lines
- Sewer Line Hydro Jetting — Full main-line cleaning from the house cleanout out to the street connection
- Kitchen Line Grease Jetting — Grease clearing for kitchen branch lines and the drain stack beneath your sink
- Root Removal & Line Clearing — Cutting and flushing roots out of sewer lines before they block the flow
- Drain Cleaning & Snaking — Cable snaking for sinks, tubs, showers, floor drains and stubborn toilet clogs
- Sewer Camera Inspection — Video inspection showing pipe condition, blockages and root entry before and after cleaning
Drain Cleaning and Hydro Jetting in Watergrass
The most common visit is a bathroom or kitchen line that a cable cleared once and that came back. Hydro jetting washes the wall of the branch line so it stops closing in. Toilet and tub clogs go to drain cleaning first.

Watergrass Parcels, Streets and Sister Communities
Parcel and street names here come from public sales records and builder pages, so confirm yours by address.
- Willow Point — Taylor Morrison section that opened in April 2018, filed as Watergrass Parcels D-2 to D-4 in sales records. Large plans carry many bathrooms on shared branch lines.
- Watergrass Parcel A (Penta Place) — A parcel name used in listing records. Houses vary in age by parcel, so a camera shows pipe material and condition rather than the plat.
- Watergrass Parcels E-1 and F-2 — Other parcel names appearing in listing records. Neighboring parcels can hold houses built years apart, so lateral age is worth checking by address.
- Talamore Drive — A Watergrass street in current sales records. Find the cleanout first, since its position decides whether a camera can go in from outside the house.
- Azalea Ridge Drive, Hatpin Loop, Kateland Drive and Graybrook Drive — Streets that show up in recent Watergrass listings. Build years differ from street to street, so camera findings are matched to the actual home.
- Seven Oaks — Crown Community Development's other Wesley Chapel master plan, with its own district and a 2000s build era; likely PVC laterals.
- Epperson — Newer community east of the I-75 Overpass interchange, on the same Curley Road and Overpass Road side as Watergrass.
Curley Road, Schools and Highways Near Watergrass
Watergrass runs off Curley Road, and these are the roads, exits and campuses that place a street.
- Curley Road (CR 577) — The county road Watergrass is entered from; it meets SR 54 and runs north toward Overpass Road.
- SR 54 — Main east-west road south of the community; its I-75 interchange is Exit 279, a few miles away per the builder.
- I-75 at Overpass Road (Exit 282) — Opened January 2023 as an alternative route to the interstate for newer communities to the east, Watergrass among them.
- Overpass Road east of the interstate — Runs six lanes from the interstate to Boyette Road; local press lists Watergrass among the communities along it.
- WaterGrass Elementary — School on site inside the community, a handy landmark for locating streets in the original sections.
- Thomas E. Weightman Middle School — Zoned middle school for Watergrass, within about a mile of the community according to Taylor Morrison's 2018 post.
- Wesley Chapel High School — Zoned high school, also within about a mile of Watergrass by the same builder page.
- Willow Point Court — Street of the Taylor Morrison sales office opened for Willow Point in April 2018.
What the Public Record Says About Watergrass Plumbing
- Pasco County's special-district list names two Watergrass districts, Watergrass I CDD and Watergrass II CDD. Two districts cover Watergrass, so common-area questions go to the district for your section. A slow tub or kitchen drain is a separate matter that starts at the house line.
- Taylor Morrison's Abaco model at Willow Point is a 3,226-square-foot single-story with four bedrooms, three and a half baths and a three-car garage. A house that size brings many fixtures onto a few branch lines, and an optional additional bedroom, full bath or upstairs game room adds still more load before the lateral.
- A realtor market page built on Florida Department of Revenue data puts the median build year of Watergrass homes at 2020. A typical house about six years old has plastic pipe with little wear, so camera findings are mostly buildup, with an occasional shifted joint.
- The Southwest Florida Water Management District says an owners' association, or sometimes a community development district, typically maintains a neighborhood's stormwater ponds once the developer finishes the roads and drainage. A pond or drainage problem outside your lot belongs to the association or district, while a clog inside your plumbing or on your lateral is the part a jetting visit can clear.

It can contribute. Saturated sand around a lateral raises groundwater pressure on joints and can load nearby public lift stations. If drains slow only after heavy rain and clear on their own, that points that way. If one fixture is always slow, it is a local clog.
Trees at the edge of a lot can send roots toward any joint that seeps. With new PVC joints that is less likely than with older pipe, but a shifted joint can still be entered. A camera pass shows whether any roots have found a way in.
All of them: the first phase and newer sections such as Willow Point, in ZIP 33545 off Curley Road. Newer pipe is generally plastic. The visit is set by the camera and the symptoms, not by the section name.
Hair and soap scum are the cause. A drain strainer helps most, and a cable clears an existing clog. If the tub keeps backing up, the branch line may have a coating only jetting removes. A branch-line snake run costs $175 to $325.
It clears what is there. It does not stop grease, wipes or roots from returning, and no honest provider can promise a line will never clog again. Strainers and a no-wipes rule do more to prevent a repeat than any extra visit.
